On March 27, 2026, a delegation led by Director DOUMBOUYA Oumar of the Infrastructure Bureau of the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation of Guinea, visited the College of Civil Engineering at Hefei University of Technology (HFUT) to discuss international exchange and cooperation. The delegation included Manager DIALLO Mamadou of the Guinea National Major Projects Office, and Director BOUSSARI Ibrahim Adebayo Adeoyo of EGIS France. They were accompanied by General Manager LI Wei of the Guinea Branch of Bengbu International Economic and Technical Cooperation Co., Ltd., and Chief Engineer XUAN Jibing. Relevant leaders and faculty representatives from the college attended the meeting, which was chaired by Dean WANG Jingfeng of the College of Civil Engineering.

Dean WANG Jingfeng extended a warm welcome to Director DOUMBOUYA Oumar and his delegation and provided a brief introduction to the history, disciplinary development, research achievements, and international exchange of the college. He noted that this visit provides an important opportunity for both sides to deepen educational cooperation and expand exchange areas, helping to promote the sharing of higher education resources and synergistic development. He emphasized that the college attaches great importance to international exchange and cooperation, and looks forward to taking this visit as a starting point to further strengthen pragmatic cooperation with Guinea in talent cultivation and educational development.

Director DOUMBOUYA Oumar then introduced the current development status and needs of higher education and infrastructure in Guinea. He pointed out that Hefei University of Technology enjoys a high reputation in the field of engineering and technology, and the purpose of this visit is to learn from China's advanced experience in civil engineering construction and seek cooperation opportunities in international student cultivation, technical training, and joint scientific research.

Following this, both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as joint student training, faculty visits, and research project collaboration. After the meeting, the delegation visited the relevant laboratories and key research platforms of the college.

This exchange has enhanced mutual understanding between the two parties and laid a solid foundation for establishing a long-term and stable cooperative relationship in the future.
