Directions: The primary research areas include improving hydrological models, coupling surface water and groundwater models, coupling hydrological models with crop models, coupling hydrological models with remote sensing data, coupling hydrological models with weather forecasting, artificial intelligence algorithms, model parameter calibration, agricultural drought simulation and assessment, and simulation of irrigation processes and reservoir inflow-outflow processes.
