The main research is on the improvement of hydrological models, coupling of surface water models and groundwater models, coupling of hydrological models and crop models, artificial intelligence algorithms, model parameterization, coupling of hydrological models and remote sensing data, simulation and assessment of agricultural droughts, and simulation of the irrigation process and reservoir storage process.
